PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Radio-frequency identification (RFID) uses electromagnetic fields to automatically identify and track tags with electronically stored information incorporated in chips
The tags contain Passive tags which collects energy from a nearby RFID reader's transmitting radio waves. Active tags have a local power source such as a battery and may operate far of a meter from the RFID reader. Unlike a barcode, the tag does not need to be within the line of sight of the reader, so it can be embedded in the tracked object. RFID is one method for Automatic Identification and Data Capture (AIDC)
A standard credit card sized RFID card is about 86 mm x 54 mm x 0.8 mm. With a nominal weight of 5.8 g which is slightly more for dual and triple frequency cards. RFID blank cards, printing cards and other stationary requirements can be made into custom-designed cards. Such as magnetic stripe, UID printed, electronic personalisation, combination, single, dual or triple frequency RFID. You can get it customised with your choice of materials like PVC glossy or matte surfaces. Offset and silkscreen printing methods are most commonly used in RFIDs
RFID Cards are used for many applications. The RFID Card tag can be easily stored in a wallet or a purse while the clamshell RFID card is usually attached to a lanyard or reel spool so that you can "show" the card or "scan" the card for access controls
Advantages of using RFID cards are
• The card is faster to use
• To make a purchase for contactless credit card transactions
• Contactless cards use highly secure data transmission standards
• Contactless cards make use of the most secure encryption standards practical with current technology
• The contactless card never transmits your card number
• RFID chip within a card creates a unique number for the transaction
